Where is Kin Beach Provincial Park?

Kin Beach Provincial Park sits in a quiet residential part of Comox, near the air force base and within the Comox Valley. The park overlooks the Strait of Georgia, with Courtenay and the wider Comox Valley among the nearby communities. The Comox town centre guide can help you plan another stop in the area.

For a shoreline visit, expect a rocky beach rather than a broad sandy stretch. Mature Douglas fir trees shade the picnic area, and the park’s large grassy field gives you a different place to spend time away from the water.

Kin Beach is a Class C provincial park managed by a local community board. The day-use area and campground are both part of the park, but there are no developed trails. For another shoreline outing in Comox, Goose Spit Park is another park to consider.
