Marina Park pairs a waterfront visit with practical facilities, including parking, washrooms, change rooms, a covered picnic area, children’s play areas and a boat launch. The Town also describes a seasonal Comox Rotary Splash Park at the site.

For a different shoreline setting, Goose Spit Park has two wheelchair-accessible portals to the top of the dunes overlooking the water. Mats near HMCS Quadra make the last park portal accessible from May through September. From March 1 through May 20, keep pets leashed to give migrating Brant geese room to rest and feed.

At Goose Spit, beach fires are allowed from May 1 through Labour Day unless a fire ban is in place, and are prohibited from September through April.

Use one of the 10 designated outer-beach fire rings and extinguish the fire with water by the 11 p.m. park closing. Marina gate hours also vary by season and may be adjusted, so check the official site before you go.
